Hi I'm Grace! I'm a recent graduate from the University of Edinburgh. I'm a designer that is captivated by graphic elements within Film and Television. I've become attentive to producing title sequences as well as creating graphic props to produce a visually immersive on-screen experience.

The award-winning musical, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street by Steven Sondheim has been reimagined into countless movie adaptions that tells the tale of Benjamin Barker, a barber who was sent away from his family on a false charge. 15 years later he returns to London with a new name, seeking revenge on the Judge who wrongly accused him. Mrs Lovett, a baker lady who lives below his Barber Shop, helps Todd in his plans of luring customers in for a shave, by disposing of the bodies and turning them into the best-selling meat pies in Fleet Street. I've chosen Mrs Lovett's Pie Shop to inspire 3 graphic props, that I have handcrafted through digital and analogue techniques, to enrich her dusty old pie shop and add more visual depth to the storyline to create verisimilitude within the viewer.
