Hayden Mackenzie is a textile and surface designer specialising in hand screen-print, digital print and illustration tailored towards interior fabrics. He combines strong modern narratives with informed historical contexts to create artisanal, crafter and intensely designed patterns and prints for the luxury market.
The Macaroni Club is a high-end, luxury, interior collection inspired by the flamboyance of the Grand Tour. Wealthy, young men plundered the Mediterranean and at times became satirised for the newly continental tastes that they brought back to a drab Britain. They have since become the early icons of queer style in a time where homosexuality did not have a name. The collection aims to capture an ephemeral reminiscence of their experience and its legacy within their lavish, British lifestyles.

Global Design Graduate Show 2023
Summer's drought was devastating for wildlife and made the landscape look more akin to Provence than rainy Blighty. 'In the Sticks' is an interior textile and pattern collection celebrating what we have and noting this change, finding those moments of peaceful respite in the shade.
