About

Hello I'm Iseabail, a 2023 Fashion Design graduate from Northumbria University. Specialising in womenswear design with pattern cutting, my responsible and sustainable approach to design and production shapes all my processes. I am inspired by who and what are around me and my environment, and my design often stems from personal concepts combined with a strong interest in outerwear and bespoke tailoring.

A follow on SS24 collection inspired by city life and working in London during the summertime. Through a focus on adaptable clothing, the collection challenges tailoring norms in order to suit a young professional consumer whilst communicating how one can still look and stay smart in the summer. Although the collection is ready to wear, it still incorporates a traditional tailored element whilst adding a casual modern twist with wrapped silhouettes by taking classic British outwear garments such as the trench coat and the tailored jacket to evolve them to make something more wearable.

An AW23 womenswear collection. Inspired by initial exploration into connections and perceptions around introversion, the collection asks the questions what makes us feel safe? For many it’s our beds, our safe havens, comfort blankets, a sense of familiarity. Using the idea of what it means to feel safe and protected I explored themes of restriction and comfort juxtaposed with modern tailoring to make a fully repurposed collection using only recycled and pre-existing materials to upcycle and create a collection that is responsible and sustainably driven.
