About
Hi, I'm Jana. As an illustrator, I enjoy working with a combination of analogue and digital media. I love drawing with watercolour or coloured pencil and combining this with digital skills. This allows me to use the advantages of both mediums.
My recent bachelor project focused on lucid dreaming. In collaboration with dreamers from the Lucid Lab in Bern, I created visualizations of their lucid dreams. The idea is to open up this fascinating and transient world to everyone.
In my bachelor's thesis, I visualised two lucid dreams. I illustrated the dreams using a combination of analogue watercolour painting and digital tools. In cooperation with Lucid Lab Bern, I was able to work closely with lucid dreamers. My goal was to bring lucid dreaming closer to people and explain the techniques used by the individual dreamer to enter a lucid dream. It was particularly important to me to convey the feeling of dreaming in atmospheric images.
