A fashion designer who seamlessly integrates knowledge of textiles and materials into fashion designs. My background includes extensive experience in managing the entire design process from concept to production, supported by advanced degrees in Fashion, Clothing, and Textile Design. I am eager to continue exploring new challenges and contributing to forward-thinking projects in the fashion industry.
This project aims to address sustainability in the fashion industry by integrating transformable design into garments. Inspired by personal experiences of forgetting and unnecessarily replacing clothing due to seasonal changes, the project focuses on creating designs that allow users to actively transform their clothing. By enabling garments to be reassembled into different forms, this approach reduces waste and extends the life of clothing. The practical aspect explores knitting techniques and shapes, focusing on connecting systems that allow easy transformation without cutting or sewing, making garments versatile and adaptable to different uses, thereby optimizing clothing use and reducing unnecessary purchases.
This project is inspired by the relationship of human and nature. How human are trying to blend in but turn out to be interference. Resulting in knitted bags which change their shapes and patterns when something are put inside.
In this collection I have an inspiration from the bleached corals in Southern Thailand. I applies the design techniques of zero-waste and up-cycling to "mawata" silk waste, to create soft, asymmetric silhouettes, reminiscent of traditional Thai sailor outfits.
