About

I have always been passionate about using jewellery as a vehicle for the expression of my thoughts. I have recently been looking into the idea of the “Looking-glass self” effect as a jewellery artist who frequently uses metal to make minimal jewellery. In this collection of contemporary jewellery, a mirror-like space for self-reflection is created by incorporating mirror elements into each piece.

The collection “Mirror Me” conducts an exploration into the connection that exists between one’s self-perception and the influences of the outside world. The search for the “self” has never ceased and will never cease. I’m excited to create this series and invite others on this journey of self-discovery.
