About
I am a Product Design Graduate with a strong understanding of eco-systems and supply chain systems by working in the retail industry for 28 years. This knowledge informed my process and approach of my project.
Research is where I shine and enjoy learning and exploring through secondary research to gain some kind of understanding of the topic before I start my primary research, this allows me to enjoy informed conversations during the interview phase.
Through listening and gaining valuable insights from people in the healthcare industry, helped form the journey my project took.
My ability of joining the dots across industry, allowed me the chance to put my programme of getting medical packaging designers into theatre for experiential learning by having first hand experience through real time observations.
My project is a service programme which allows medical packaging designers the opportunity to have access to hospital storerooms, sterilisation units, recycling units and one theatre visit. This would facilitate experiential learning and the opportunity to get to observe how the staff interact with the packaging and to be able to collaborate to be able to make informed decisions on reducing medical packaging waste.
