Hello! I'm Josefien, a multidisciplinary designer based in London, with a focus on furniture and product design.
I'm insatiably curious about how stories, materials, and objects shape our everyday lives. My work often blends narrative, craft, and function.

I love stories, so I asked myself, how could I combine this with furniture design? This project explores how narratives can take shape through objects, and how they shift when we hold them in our hands. The Harpy is where myth meets material. Through furniture design, I explored how fragmented, often distorted stories can be translated into something tactile and present. This piece holds feminist and participatory intent, inviting narrative into form, surface, and structure.
