I am a fashion design student at Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo. My work explores the relationship between comfort, individuality, and imagination. I am interested in couture techniques, textile experimentation, and sustainable approaches to garment construction. Through clothing, I aim to create pieces that reduce physical and sensory strain while allowing the wearer to feel expressive, transformed, and fully themselves. My long-term goal is to develop celebratory and ritual-inspired fashion with a strong personal narrative.
Clothes That Do Not Exhaust People explores clothing that reduces physical and sensory strain on the wearer. The garment uses a seamless double-woven tube structure with adjustable ties at the bust and waist instead of elastic. A purple gradient expresses softness and transformation, while the construction allows the garment to adapt comfortably to different bodies. Developed through the Rebel Tartan Project, this work investigates sustainable fashion and inclusive design through comfort, adaptability, and reduced construction waste.
