University in 2025. Yulia’s work is defined by her love for tactile textures, particularly felt, which
she incorporates into her films to create a warm, handcrafted aesthetic. Her work stands out for
its detailed design and heartfelt storytelling. She keeps experimenting with new techniques and
materials, aiming to explore stop motion and charm audiences with her textured worlds.
Fred the Magic Frog is a stop motion animation short. It tells the story of a frog who pretends to cast magic for his friend’s flowers to grow. The truth is he works quietly each night. He shows that real magic is friendship and persistence.
