About
Recent 2025 graduate passionate about interior design, with a particular interest in office and workplace design. Currently working in retail, where I’ve developed strong people skills and an eye for detail, I am now seeking a placement to gain experience and grow within a creative design studio.
My project explores the preservation and renewal of endangered heritage crafts through a proposed programme of workshops led by skilled textile artists. The aim was to create a space that is part workshop, part school, and part home—where traditional skills are passed on through practice, collaboration, and community engagement. Alongside teaching, the design includes housing for resident artists and public-facing features such as a shop and exhibition space. Rooted in reciprocity, the project highlights how heritage crafts can evolve while maintaining cultural significance, fostering resilience, and connecting people through shared making, creativity, and lived experience.
