I’m a textile designer specialising in knitwear, with a passion for creating innovative, tactile garments that blend technical construction with expressive design. My work explores texture, silhouette, and surface through both traditional and industrial knitting techniques, reflecting a balance of craftsmanship and modernity. With experience gained through internships at studios like The Knitwear Lab and Groppo, I’ve developed strong skills in fabric development, machine operation (STOLL, Dubied, and domestic), and translating conceptual research into fully realised designs. At the heart of my practice is a desire to make clothing that empowers and inspires confidence and garments that not only look beautiful, but feel meaningful to wear.
Channeling the grandeur of Renaissance architecture and the opulence of historical dress. This concept blends volume and shape in women’s garments. Inspired by Florence’s architectural splendour and Renaissance high fashion it marries knitwear techniques with lace patterns for a modern interpretation. From dramatic ruffles to intricate pleats, each detail echoes the rich heritage of the past while embracing contemporary innovation. Drawing from rich hues of pinks and maroons seen in timeless paintings, infusing a modern twist with subtle greys, highlighting intricate smocking and pleating techniques. This fusion of past and present creates a visual narrative that redefines sartorial artistry.
