About
I am an Embroiderer that values the practice of slow making and being sustainable where possible. I was taught embroidery from a young age by my mother; most of my work is possible with the threads and fabrics she has collected over the years and passed down to me.I use nature for most of my inspiration and colour palettes, I enjoy translating the small details into embroidery.
My project Exploring the unnoticed is about looking at the small details in the world around us that often go unnoticed, such as lichen, mould, bacteria and bark and translating them into stitched pieces.
