Hi i’m matthew, I’m 20 years old and currently I’m studying fashion design at raffles university. Fashion has always been a passion and an escape from the real world for me. It is where i can focus my energy into creating art forms, stories and poetry trough garments. It is where i can fully express myself.
the concept of this collection is Imperfect Perfect picture or Imperfect Perfection, This phrase to me means something or someone is not flawless, but still wonderful, beautiful, or valuable in its own way. It is like a beautiful vintage porcelain vas with cracks in it. Though it is damage, it manages to stun and release a beautiful aura around it. To me it's a natural phenomenon that happens anywhere not just in people but with nature and objects. This ties to the overall inspiration and theme of the collection which is the tragic poetry of the term The Other Woman.
