Hello there! My name's Meg and I've recently graduated from Falmouth University with an Illustration BA Hons degree.
My main forms of media are collage, modelmaking and painting with the occasional dabble into the digital world.
I'm heavily inspired by Jim Henson and Banksy. Hoping to one day work in the Film & TV industry!
I like to create album covers, band posters, characters and sculptures out of cardboard. My style of work dips into the themes of horror, punk and fantasy and I have been told that it's a bit of an acquired taste!
For my Final Major Project at Falmouth University, I created four theatrical/sculptural masks representing my versions of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, using recent tragic events as inspiration for their design. This project focused on the traumatic events the world has endured over the past several years and continues to experience. I related these events to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and how they metaphorically represent the end of the world. It highlighted how the looming threats of world-ending events are constantly hanging over our shoulders, and how these threats have become more apparent over these past few years.
