I am a designer specializing in knitwear, using textile as my main field of exploration. My work is shaped by the constant influence of life and the surrounding environment, serving as a relevant and present source of inspiration to process, critique, and reflect. Knitting, with its rhythm and material intimacy, is the space where these influences transform into tactile forms, allowing me to explore ideas through both emotional and structural dimensions.
Softness can be deceptive. In ctrl:feral, knitwear becomes a living presence that reflects the world, responds to it, and leaves its mark. Knitting became my space for slowing down, processing, and expressing complex experiences, shaping a material emotional vocabulary where every choice of yarn, texture, weight or density holds meaning. Through precise control of techniques down to the single thread, I explored textiles in shifting states such as frayed, stretched and hairy. The work asks how something soft can carry the weight of resilience, act as both protection and resistance, and move between intimacy and strength. Each garment stands as evidence of the meeting point between material, body and emotion.
