About

Milly noble is a textile designer specialising in print, particularly digital print, heat press and screen print. Her work is inspired by nature and organic shapes. it is marketed towards an interiors context, as she values the importance of bringing the outside in. Milly's work is detailed and she combines her drawing skills through creating digital repeat patterns as well as hand painted heat press pieces. Although her work focuses on realistic drawings, she combines them with abstract textures and the use of vibrant colours to make them stand out.

This project was completed as part of my FMP for level 6. I was inspired by pond life as I believe that wild life conservation is important. I wanted to go back into my specialisms in textile design for interiors as well as drawing organic shapes and forms.

This project was completed as my level 5 FMP. For this project I chose the theme of moths, because I was inspired by the fluffy textures and range of patterns and colours.

For this project, I experimented with being out of my comfort zone and completing a project based on fashion textiles. For this project, I chose to look into alternative fashion. I was inspired by the gothic architecture of churches, crucifixes and tarot cards. I believe in the importance of sustainability, especially within the fashion industry, so therefore I used primarily up-cycled and recycled materials
