A COLLABORATION PROJECT SPONSORED BY MUSEUM OF LEATHER CRAFTS. A PROJECT WHICH I EXPLORED FROM THE DEVELOPMENTS OF MY FINAL MAJOR PROJECT OF EQUESTRIANISM. THE OUTLINE OF THE PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS SUSTAINABILITY IN THE USE OF LEATHER AND AN INDEPTH RESEARCH INTO LEATHER CRAFTING
Equestrian I have dedicated the project to equestrianism, a family heritage of mine which roots from our family farm in Turkey. As a young designer, I have always admired the importance to attentive dressing on the farm and the considerate care that the farmers give to look their best whilst horse riding or undertaking daily gardening tasks. Researching into the traditions of military and modern jockey dressing has directed me to explore the wider concept of the importance of etiquette in equestrian attire.
