Nadine Härting is a communication, play, and learning designer. A graduate of Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle, she combines typographically skilled design with craftsmanship and educational concepts. Her work centers on the human being as a co-creator. Between analog printing techniques and audience-focused mediation, she develops projects that make design playfully accessible — as a tool, a space, and an impulse for collaborative learning and creativity.
Printing is a traditional craft and an important part of cultural history. Screen printing is versatile, capable of printing on many materials while producing durable results, yet it is rarely used in educational contexts. This master’s thesis explores the potential of screen printing in schools and the barriers to its integration, developing SIEBDRUCK TO-GO — a mobile concept that makes the technique more accessible. The modular system combines portable units with tools and materials for workshops. A flexible workshop cart based on the Eurobox system enables screen printing even in limited spaces. The project aims to give students a playful way to develop creative and manual skills while promoting this traditional craft in a digital world.
