I am a fashion design and marketing graduate from Northumbria University whose final year collection combined the use of knit with pre-loved denim to create well constructed garments made to last. In my spare time I crochet, as-well-as sew to constantly develop my skills in these areas. I have industry experience in social media marketing, embroidery and embellishment, assisting designers and sewing.
OX is a sustainable streetwear brand for environmentally conscious and expressive women. They want their creations to allow women to express their individuality through the art of dressing. Some garments have the ability to be customised with features, such as with press-studs. OX uses recycled denim in their knitted and sewn garments to extend the life of denim and reduce FASHION'S environmental impact. their goal is to re-invent pre-loved denim whilst keeping its practical history alive, this is reflected in their launch collection of farming called 'Denim Fields Forever', with denim originating as workwear.OX reflects on the history of denim for men and reinvents it for women, to address past, present and future advances in equality. Longevity is non-negotiable, and so each stitch is done with love and care to make the garments last a lifetime.
OX's childrenswear aims to support young girls in their careers by encouraging them to be whatever they want to be - without society's restrictions. They use pre-loved denim and embroider the customer's initials on the garment's pockets to add a personal element whilst teaching the children that buying responsibly is good. OX uses their signature combination of knit with denim and represents the theme of mechanics through their techniques and patterns.
