Course / Program Title: DESIGN AND PRODUCTMANAGEMENT
I have been fascinated by materials and diverse craft disciplines from a young age, always combining this passion with a strong technical curiosity for computers, programming, and digital tools. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design at OTH Regensburg in Germany and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Design & Product Management at FH Salzburg. In my wood and metal workshop, I build furniture, lamps, and art objects, and I experiment a lot with different materials. I am enthusiastic about the idea of offering people more skills and opportunities for expression in the form of products. Products that help people live out creative processes, promote talents, and support people in achieving their goals.
LÄISA is a mobile housing and interface for the safe, child-friendly use of laser cutters, developed for schools and children from the age of eight. Users place a hand-drawn sketch on the fold-out workspace, which is captured by a camera and projected back with guiding instructions. Wooden panels up to 12 mm can be processed without the need for professional software, making laser cutting accessible to a wide audience. The device features a lockable service hatch for tool-free filter replacement, a height-adjustable frame for different age groups or standing work, and is wheelchair-accessible and operable with one hand.
