Hello! I am a game designer with a passion for UI/UX who transforms untold stories into immersive experiences. I believe that creativity is not one-size-fits-all. Like changing outfits to fit the occasion, I ensure every player feels seen and inspired.
My work revolves closely on traditional heritage, trendy modern aesthetics, and playful creativity. I am a fabulous storyteller and I tell stories with glitters on it.
Lagenda is a 3D narrative exploration game that reimagines the Malaysian folklore legend, Mahsuri. In this story, players take on the role of Wan Aisyah, a curious girl who is on a personal quest to recover her family’s missing keris, known as malay traditional dagger to find out about her lost family. But little did she know, her quest isn’t just a mere adventure but a journey of self-discovery and hard truth. The game blends interactive storytelling, light exploration, and a touch of mystery, all wrapped in a melancholic tone. Developed entirely by one creator, Lagenda is not here to be loud. It is about looking backward, listening closely, and remembering the stories that once were. ✧ Play now on itch.io: ❀ https://aifealim.itch.io/lagenda ❀ ✧ Background Lagenda is inspired by the timeless tale of Mahsuri, a legendary folklore story from Langkawi, Malaysia. It is a story of betrayal, innocence, and a curse said to haunt the land for seven generations. ✧ Gameplay In Lagenda, players journey through the cursed village of Langkapura where exploration and discovery reveal fragments of Aisyah’s past. By interacting with villagers and uncovering hidden details of the world, players slowly begin to understand her connection to Mahsuri’s curse. Along the way, simple quests guide players to help villagers, collect artifacts, and piece together the truth that binds Langkapura to its fate. With each decision made, the story subtly shifts to branching endings that reflect the player’s choices, shaping not only the condition of the village but also Aisyah’s future beyond the curse. ✧ Visual Style The environment draws inspiration from traditional Malay culture kampung life, with stilted wooden houses, oil lamps casting soft glows blending into dense tropical forests. Every corner feels alive with details. From chickens scattering in courtyards to villagers speaking in Kedah dialect, the art direction leans toward realism infused with a dreamlike atmosphere, using warm earthy tones in daylight and haunting blues at night to reflect the duality of beauty and curse.
