Hi! I'm Reece, an interdisciplinary creative, I specialise in graphic design. I have been lucky enough to be able to engross myself in the world of graphic design, photography, videography and editing. I love combining these skills where I can. I'm always looking for new opportunities to work with new people and create new things.
In 2021, I earned a Foundation Degree Graphic Design & Photography and have just graduated with a 1st from University of Portsmouth studying Graphic Design!
The Manifesto Of Value was my outcome for my major project in graphic design at university. I heavily researched American workwear from 1890 to 1930, engrossing myself in the design from that era. I mixed this visual style with modern-day statistics and messages about modern work culture. I created a laser-etched denim jacket and pair of jeans, which had 16 graphics, 14 on the back and 2 on the front. These graphics were all inspired by visual attributes of workwear ephemera from the time. I also made a 16 page booklet inspired by memo booklets, explaining the project further and giving reader's interactive tasks about value and work culture. The project aimed to combat feelings of undervalue, with undertones of authenticity and an appreciation for craft. I also created a handmade debossed leather brand patch, an embroidered badge and a pocket flasher which were sewn on to the jeans.
