About

I am a print-led textile designer whose practice combines intuitive making, material storytelling and a deep sensitivity to emotional and sensory experience. I draw inspiration from the natural world, ideas around wellbeing and the power of communication, using textiles to create quiet, reflective moments that invite touch, interaction and connection.

Drawing is at the core of how I begin. I dedicate time to a range of drawing exercises in the early stages of a project, using instinctive mark-making to explore mood, movement and composition. This phase allows me to respond freely to ideas before refining them through surface and material experimentation.

I work across analogue and digital processes, using techniques such as screen printing, flocking, devoré, collagraph and embossing on both fabric and paper. These methods allow me to build layered, tactile surfaces that shift in depth, texture and rhythm, encouraging the viewer to slow down and engage physically with the work.

I am particularly interested in how textiles can hold emotion, how surface, texture and format can be used to tell stories or encourage moments of quiet interaction. My outcomes often conceal, unfold or reveal, prompting a sense of curiosity and connection.

Curation is central to my practice. I edit and scale my designs carefully, developing cohesive collections that balance bold visual energy with thoughtful detail. Every decision is guided by process, emotion and how a piece might be experienced.

At the heart of my work is a desire to create meaningful, tactile experiences. I aim to produce textiles that speak through surfaces, evoke reflection and offer a moment of pause.

Flow State is tactile textile collection for SEN therapeutic spaces, inspired by topography and organic movement. Through embossing, flocking and layered screen printing, it supports emotional regulation and sensory engagement. Grounding tones with colour pops create inclusive environments that balance calm, curiosity and connection through surface and touch. Write me, Don't text me reimagines the forgotten ritual of handwritten love letters through tactile, poetic gifting. Inspired by Victorian elements such as puzzle purses, concealed messages, each item designed for this collection is made to be unfolded, felt, and kept. Bold colour, delicate marks and layered materials balance nostalgia with modern energy. - Presenting both of my final year projects.
