I'm currently studying at Bucks New University, as a undergraduate student, in my 3rd year in Textiles Design, I have a keen interest in a range of processes that includes, screen printing, knitting, surface (hard materials), mixed media materials, sublimation printing, mono printing, embroidery embellishments and CAD.
Blooming Narratives: Floral Symbolism in British Textiles
As a textiles designer, my final major project for my BA (Hons) degree involves british florals in textile design, which explores the use of colour, pattern and form. This is inspired by floral symbolism in British textiles. I've experimented with 3d organza flowers, knit, print and digital repeats to explore how these combine together as a fashion textiles collection in Spring/Summer.
Devil in the Detail (Idiom) which looks for within the details in knit and a range of techniques on industrial knit machine which I've applied within a range of chosen colour palette yarns
going down under the sea and looking at the coral, fishes, seaweed, octopus tentacles, starfish and much more in hard materials of resin of finals.
