re_sign is an immersive AI-driven installation born from the tension between technological alienation and the longing for collective presence. In a moment defined by the rapid rise of artificial intelligence, instead of allowing us to “resign” to passive acceptance of pre-scripted futures that flatten complexity, it insists we “re-signify”—assign new meanings to old thoughts. Visitors contribute words or phrases through a conversational interface; AI agents respond with text while simultaneously transforming the input into evolving soundscapes and generative visuals. Each interaction is stored in a growing database, turning the room into a living memory that remembers, mutates, and carries forward every encounter. Addressing themes of desertion, alienation, emancipation, and mutability, re_sign becomes more than an installation: it is a living environment where language, technology, and reflection converge into shared memory and collective transformation.
