About
I am Sara and I am a multimedia designer.
I was born in Abruzzo but currently live in Rome where I studied and where I am working in an advertising agency.
I have always had a strong passion for design and graphic production, combined with a strong determination.
I have always been convinced that design is a great tool to help people's lives.
Voiceover is the name of my thesis in digital art direction. The thesis is on the topic of accessibility for blind people: with this project carried out in collaboration with The Space Cinema, I wanted to make movie theaters accessible in their services, architecture and enjoyment of the film during the screening. The final output is an app that supports blind people by providing directions on how to access the cinema, provides support and assistance to the services and the film (with audio descriptions during the film). he main idea of my project is to increase the social inclusion of blind people in our society by eliminating the architectural barriers present in the movie theaters and in the entertainment industry. The creative process was born hand in hand with research: through the help of the Sant’Alessio Institute for the Blind people, I grounded this app that is based on the needs of blind people. So the creative process was shaped by the target audience, the needs of blind people and the require of movie theaters.
