About

As a fashion design graduate with a specialisation in womenswear, I possess a creative and innovative mindset. My passions encompass both high-end and high-street fashion, with a strong focus on sustainability. I am eager to expand my knowledge and enhance my skills in the field of design.

This collection is one big love letter showcasing my Grandparents love story. Paper creates and holds our memories whether we know it or not, especially love letters as we write down so much of our day to day lives that they slowly start to create a story on there own. For 4 years my Grandparents would constantly send letter to each other on average 3 times a week before finally being together after marrying. This collection tells the 61 years of love and how now even with my Grandads recent diagnosis of Dementia there love for each other can get them through it.

The concept of this project is based on how work can consume our lives—focusing on my parents' jobs, as they have so little time to relax. I repurposed items like my dad's 'old' work shirts (7 total) by deconstructing and using the fabric to create a modern design. I repurposed an old sweatshirt, giving it a new identity. I looked into creating a relaxed form of workwear, with more people working from home, wearing dressed down. Neon deadstock fabric relates to post-it notes at work and hi-vis jackets for night walks. Redefining fabrics through the use of patchwork pleated panels.

Based on addiction, this outerwear project looks at the different types of addiction such as drugs, alcohol etc. I created a overwear jacket based off of my research.
