autumn watermill

Specialisms:

Game Arts

Developed in UE5, this environment was created using the theme 'A Shift in the Wind' initially part of a university project but adapted later on for the SFAS 2023 competition, ultimately winning the environment art category. Using runtime virtual texturing, trimsheets, modular kit creation and tradition modelling pipelines, this stylised piece inspired by autumn was created. Software: Maya, Substance Designer, Substance Painter, UE5, ZBrush, Photoshop

Stylised pirate ship

Specialisms:

Game Arts

Loosely inspired by Sea of Thieves, this pirate ship was created to further my experience creating stylised textures, trimsheets and development of more complex objects. Software used: Maya, ZBrush, Substance Designer, Substance Painter

graveyard asset models

Specialisms:

Game Arts

Created as part of my final year project, these asset were produced in a modular fashion, ensuring that multiple versions of the mausoleums and tombs could be produced in UE4. This project utilised trimsheets, modular kit creation, procedural material creation, photogrammetry and traditional modelling techniques. Using the Substance Plugin for UE4, I was able to expose parameters for levels of moss and dirt, giving greater control over the variation of assets in UE4. Through this project, I explored the genre of horror, and more specifically folk horror - looking at films such as Midsommar and The Wicker Man. Software used: Maya, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, ZBrush
