Her designs seek to connect with users in ways that are thoughtful, impactful, and empowering.
Oasis is a sleep therapy speaker designed to ease insomnia by reimagining the moment of switching off the lights. Inspired by the stories of three insomnia patients and guided by the expertise of a clinical psychologist and a sleep researcher, Oasis reimagines insomnia patients' anxious moment into a calmer ritual, supported by simple, science-informed practices. In light mode, it gently illuminates the room; with a simple push, it transitions into night mode, playing rhythmic ambience that guides breathing exercises inspired by cognitive behavioral therapy. Unlike sleep apps that often tether us to distracting devices, Oasis uses a familiar analogue interaction to create a calming, device-free experience—bringing elements of insomnia therapy into the comfort of home. By making healthy sleep habits more accessible, Oasis helps shape better nights for brighter days.
