I am from Sichuan, China, the hometown of giant pandas. As a product designer, I specialize in developing biomimetic products inspired by animals. My work focuses on studying animal characteristics and behaviors, and transforming these insights into practical design solutions. With a deep interest in the relationship between nature and design, I am dedicated to creating innovative products that reflect the unique features and habits of animals.
Supportive Wearable for Rebar construction Workers
This project explores the characteristics of spider webs and combines them with the work of steel workers. It conducts a research project combining bionics and structural design to develop new protective auxiliary equipment that can relieve chronic strain and adapt to the construction site environment. Let design not only focus on the rise of buildings, but also protect the bodies of workers who support the city. I hope to arouse the public's attention to the health problems of grassroots workers through product design. As the backbone of urban construction, they engage in high-intensity labor for a long time, but their health protection is often ignored. This design is not only a response to their working status, but also a social appeal - I hope that more people will face up to the physical burden and health risks faced by these builders, and promote the society to give more support and improvement in policies, technology and humanistic care, so as to achieve warmer urban development.
