Design Shanghai 2015 opens this Friday (27th March) at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre. A group of twelve second year graphic design students from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts created an installation inspired by socks at the Reykjavik Maritime Museum during DesignMarch 2015. For the This Socks exhibition, the students each brought a pair of socks to school and traded it with someone else. They then used the traded socks as a source of inspiration to create whatever came to mind.
