ARTS THREAD has teamed up with Paris trade show Equip’Hôtel for the Equip’Innov Invention Contest. All entries must be uploaded through ARTS THREAD to enter the competition.

Equip’Hôtel is the must-attend innovation and creativity rendez-vous in the Hospitality and Catering sector and maintains its leading role for Architects, Designers, Decorators, … looking for inspiration and new perspectives.

The Competition: To find 5 inventions that can be ready and working in hotels and restaurants by 2013.

This contest is open to design and architecture students and also to young designers and architects who can present to industry their prototype products designed for the hospitality and catering market.

5 categories are available for entry: bar, dining-room, lighting, bathroom and terrace.

Requirements: The Product should cost less than 1,000€ at retail, be eco-friendly, useful, new and in line with one of the selected topics.

In order to be presented at the show, the prototype must be fully operational.

The jury : Made up of professionals from the four related sectors, including ARTS THREAD, the official partner of the contest.

The winner’s work will be shown at Equip’Hôtel and they will receive a paid-for trip to Paris to attend the fair, plus their work will be showcased online and promoted to international pres.

The primary selection from the competition will be shown online at Equip’Hôtel.
