ARTS THREAD will be holding workshops and talks at the V&A Museum as part of London Design Festival at the V&A This year our 2 events form part of the Working in Design session at the V&A on the afternoon and evening of Friday September 23, as part of London Design Festival at the V&A

This talk by ARTS THREAD is aimed at young people who want to find out how to get started in design. Get to know how the designers showing at London Design Festival started in the creative industry. Learn how to make the most of the festival events to understand more about the different specialisms of design to help you in your career choices.

ARTS THREAD¹s team of journalists will give a talk and workshop to teach you how to market yourself and your new creative business through blogs, newsletters and social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest to promote what you do to a wider audience.

Ben Tallon's vibrant hand crafted work is created with a wide range of organic materials. Ben’s clients include BBC, Universal, WWE & The Premier League. Ben is also the host of the Arrest All Mimics - the original thinking and creative innovation podcast, supported by Illustration Ltd and reposted by ARTS THREAD as part of our Creative Careers series.

Nick Chubb, Product Designer at IDC - a leading international design consultancy focusing on medical devices, consumer products and specialist industrial equipment for a number of global brands. Prior to IDC, Nick designed baby strollers at Mamas & Papas and outdoor gear at Lifeventure. He has a 1st Class Masters Degree in Product Design and was selected by Develop3D as one of the Top 5 New Designers in the UK.
