For the third year running, ARTS THREAD members will be showing in a dedicated section of DESIGNERSBLOCK. This year the exhibition will be at Ex-Ansaldo, a former industrial space on via Tortona, the heart of Milan Design Week.

Lucy Simpson is a materials led textile designer who works to create unexpected materials of tactility and colour.

Lucas Munoz is an Eindhoven based designer who explores the field of the artificial by questioning our natural relations with it through theory and craft. Read our Q&A with Lucas here.

Hayley Beckley is a jewellery designer who attempts to narrate the importance of story and communication.

Jack Durling is a product designer who enjoys unearthing inspiration from the most unlikely of places.

Joan Vellve is also a product designer passionate about understanding industrial and production processes and how these are a link to social organisation.

Kate Askwith is a product designer who works with process led design. She has an interest in how things are made and the people behind the machines.

Agnieska Szlazberg is an interior design based in Warsaw, and also specialises in furniture and product design.

Elina Ulvio is a product design student with a background in architecture. Her designs have already seen her win the main prize at Habitare Design Competition. Read our Q&A with Elina here.

Erika Braccini is a designer with a focus on the problem of waste, environmental and social issues, and stimulating people in thinking more about the environment and its preservation.
