Levi's has chosen ARTS THREAD for the third time in a row as the platform for their Levi's x Arts Thread competitions, with the goal of hiring new international talent for their denim brands.
ARTS THREAD successfully delivered a strong turnout in both quantity and quality for all three Levi's x Arts Thread Design Challenge, open to fashion students worldwide.
ARTS THREAD’s involvement:
ARTS THREAD uses its contacts at all the leading art and design schools worldwide to nominate their best students and graduates who then upload a portfolio onto ARTS THREAD. The student or graduate uploads their portfolio into a dedicated section of the website, so that the Levi's jury can easily choose their favourites.
The ARTS THREAD team manages this process and checks the portfolio is professionally presented and the Levi's jury pick a shortlist of 20. The Levi's jury then pick a winner. The winning designer wins a paid 10 week Design internship at Levi’s San Francisco Headquarters in their summer vacation, working with the best denim experts on the planet, plus a visit the legendary Levi’s Archive and the Eureka Innovation Lab.
