Johanne Ib has created a series of tools that encourage people to eat differently in order to make the act of communal eating more meaningful. Each tool causes the user to approach eating in a different way and are based on the concept of care, presence, time and senses.

Roseanne Kimber Roseanne Kimber

Helping children overcome their fear of needles is the aim of Roseanne Kimber’s project. Through research at Kolding Hospital, Kimber was able to learn more from kids and their parents about what aspects of getting a needle or blood test young children find most daunting. A set of tools were created that make use of different senses to relax patients.

Petto Cantarutti Petto Cantarutti

Petto Cantarutti hopes to empower adults with mental disabilities with the Masturbation Conversation Kit, which helps them learn how to discuss topics relating to sex and discover what’s appropriate to do in private and in public.

Leyla Aslan Leyla Aslan

Sideline Magazine by Leyla Melis Aslan aims to put the spotlight on women in sport. The editorial project features content that challenges gender inequality and celebrates the achievements of women in the sports industry.

Xiaoya Wang Xiaoya Wang

Xiaoya Wang collaborated with young people to create a physical space that meets the needs of today’s teens. The result of the project is a flexible social space with modular elements that can be set-up in areas where young people gather

Chun-Yuan Chen’s project aims to support people who are nervous about providing CPR to relatives or loved ones facing a life threatening cardiac arrest at home. Chen’s research for the H.C.A project found that only around 1% of people with access to an automated external defibrillator have the confidence to use it. H.C.A. The device aims to support users while they face the stressful situation of delivering CPR and gives them the confidence to properly administer heart compression.
