Recent graduates, as well as staff, from the Central Saint Martins UAL BA Jewellery Design course return to exhibit their work at Sustained held at furniture store Vitsœ as part of Munich Jewellery Week.

The show, running March 8 to 12, features the work of 39 jewellery makers. The theme, Sustained, explores and celebrates the endurance of creatives during a time of uncertainty and global panic.

Arts Thread members and Global Design Graduate Show in collaboration with GUCCI shortlisted 2021 Roni Levy is showing the Classic Leopard Earring made of yellow and brown onion skins and recycled gold and Nicola Constantina is showing Freedom of Choice made from human hair and brass.

Caroline Broadhead is showing the Crew Neck piece made of glass beads, thread and buttons. Pieces on display include Kathy Chan's bangle made from long grain rice and chemiwood, Nicola Constantina's human hair and brass piece, and Tabitha Charlton's My World Is Your Oyster, made from shells, surgical steel barbells and Indian ink.

This year, alongside the course team, 2020 graduates Roanne Sanchez-Watts and Jo Harrison- Hall have been invited to guest curate the exhibition. Their curation, bringing together work from the classes of 2020, 2021, and 2022, is informed by questions surrounding both the temporal and functional nature of jewellery and its relationship to ourselves, our cultures and the natural world. The work will be presented on and around the timeless 606 Universal Shelving System, designed by Dieter Rams in 1960 and made by Vitsœ ever since.

The full list of participating designers: Caroline Broadhead, Holly Browning, Piran Caseley, Kathy Chan, Tabitha Charlton, Lin Cheung, Nicola Constantina, Dominik Cunningham, Katharina Dettar, Melanie Georgacopoulos, Katie Gibbon, Lucie Gledhill, Katy Hackney, Jo Harrison-Hall, Iona Hindmarch Bisset, Miho Ishizuka, Kigen Kamijima, Giles Last, Roni Levy, Jiabei Li, Millie Marks, Marlene Mckibbin, Maria Militsi, Frieda Munro, Roxanne Reynolds, Huw Riddall, Roanne Sanchez-Watts, Zak Sheinman, Bella Si Hyun Lee, Carola Solcia, Jessica Turrell, Maggie Heya Wang, Ruiyi Wang, Frances Wadsworth Jones, Siobhan Wallace, Max Warren, Barbara (Yixuan) Wei, Paul Wells and Dixin Zheng.
