Bringing nature’s beauty into interior space with an awareness in environmental impact is my primary pursuit as a designer . I created a faux flower making system with agar, food waste and 3D printed molds. I have been cooking, weaving, braiding and gardening a glorious world of bio-degradable agar textiles with my respect for natural materials and my love of organic colors and textures. I use agar, the high-strength gel extracted from red seaweed, as the main material for my art practice for its incredible moldability and bio-degradability. I am continually experimenting with the use of natural and waste materials as dyes and texturizers for agar flowers. I will continue exploring the beauty of agar flowers and building a glorious Agar Garden.
