About

In my work, I explore the boundaries of corporeality and new, not yet existing worlds. I want to use a sensual approach to question concepts such as contemplation, naturalness or norms of body and truth, working in fields that link fashion design, material and art. Body and intimacy issues and the associated and related social or artificially constructed role models often form a starting point. The urge to create new, hidden and imaginative rooms and to invent new possibilities, keeps many fairy tales inside. I am just a realist thinking about impossible things, CRITICIZING existing structureswith (utopian) ideas and I am longing to invent by copying from nature.

„Blue Collection“ is an ongoing project consisting of several single positions. Bodies grow intuitively with individual strokes of the biros, taking up space and spreading out. Through drawing, sculptural fashion objects, performance and the interrelation of short stories, different body scenarios emerge. The visual expression is found through a sensual approach such as feeling, sensing, smelling or tasting one‘s own body. The resulting sensation and body feeling is captured in the moment and put into a visual form. Over a certain period of time, various bodily sensations are created which then steadily grow into forms and thus form independent bodies. Biro plays a central role in the process of capturing the moment. As with scribble next to telephone calls or sketching with other thoughts in mind, biro is used for impulse snapshots and as an emotional processing method. In the process, female body is reinterpreted and reinvented by itself. providing landscape relateable narratives, shaped by time and space. Questioning women‘s ever since historical intended place in society: What is a body in this time? Contextual exploitation juxtaposed with mother love. Cellulite eats through concrete. Good old fat floods walls. Strands of blue hair overgrow, continue to grow. Once again I can‘t keep my breasts still, they do what they want anyway. Liquefied blue bodies cannot speak. They beat words to death, roll them over. Scenes arise by themselves in the process of formation and individual as well as collective, stories, which are also recorded in written form.
