Specialising in fashion fabrics, my practice utilises mixed media to create outcomes for a range of contexts. I particularly focus on using embroidery and embellishment techniques in my designs.
Florentine Elegance- Renaissance Couture
This project utilises different embroidery and embellishment techniques to portray different motifs/ elements of Renaissance Artworks. Taking inspiration from paintings, sculpture and metal works, the motifs used within this collection have been stylised for design purposes. The main sources of inspiration were the paintings: 'Primavera', 'The Birth of Venus', and 'The School of Athens'.
