Mixed Media screen and digital printer. Love for fun colours and pattern
My professional project, Garden Gates, completed during Level 5, explored florals alongside ornate structures, stately homes, and wrought iron design. I specialised in print, incorporating a range of techniques including foil, Procion dyes, devoré, and discharge. Throughout the project, I also applied paper manipulation and laser-cutting skills. This was my only fashion-focused project across Levels 5 and 6, influenced by both the theme and the predominantly fashion-based techniques I employed. I used bright spring/summer colours to reflect the fashion season I was designing for, incorporating multiple distinctive layers and textures throughout my prints.
