Mixed Media screen and digital printer. Love for fun colours and pattern
My FMP project looking at garden cooridors, birds, berries, florals and folliage. I continued with my love for hardsurface print, UV print, tufting, pigment screen prints, digital designs, collage and painting. This collection is inspired by my love of nature, spending time in my nans garden and visiting exbury gardens. I used a range of bold, colourful pattern, bright colours and a more tactice approach for children's interiors.
My SPP project is a bright, playful, and colourful collection designed for kitchen interiors. It focuses on still life, food, and pattern, and showcases a mix of hard surfaces, wallpapers, and rugs. I applied my textile skills to create wallpaper rolls, tea towels, tablecloths, placemats, trivets, coasters, and rugs. This project specialised in hard surfaces, where I experimented with materials and techniques such as Jesmonite, resin, laser cutting, and etching.
A bright and playful collection inspired by Amsterdam and the Dutch tulip fields. I worked with soft pastel spring colours, drawing influence from Delftware, traditional pottery patterns, and Dutch lace. For this live brief, I explored motifs such as tulip fields, windmills, Delft ceramics, and lace. The collection was designed for interiors, specifically a converted windmill setting. I used a range of techniques, predominantly devoré, alongside laser cutting, etching, and digital design.
My professional project, Garden Gates, completed during Level 5, explored florals alongside ornate structures, stately homes, and wrought iron design. I specialised in print, incorporating a range of techniques including foil, Procion dyes, devoré, and discharge. Throughout the project, I also applied paper manipulation and laser-cutting skills. This was my only fashion-focused project across Levels 5 and 6, influenced by both the theme and the predominantly fashion-based techniques I employed. I used bright spring/summer colours to reflect the fashion season I was designing for, incorporating multiple distinctive layers and textures throughout my prints.
My Innovation project consisted of experimentive designs with pigment print, stitch, digital design and collage. My theme was houses inspired by wimbourne tiny village.
