Guess Who? Visually Impaired Edition is an innovative project developed by students Omar Rojas, María Shaw Elorduy, and Andrés Sebastián Serrano López, aimed at including individuals with visual impairments in one of the most popular board games today. The project promotes accessibility and equity in recreational activities. The process begins with the digital 3D modeling of small busts that represent distinct physical characteristics. These busts are then 3D printed to replace the original game’s printed cards, enabling a tactile experience that allows players to identify characters through touch. The main challenge of this project was to translate visual elements into tangible forms, making them accessible to blind players by adapting the game board for full interaction. Each bust features the character’s name in Braille on the back, providing a complete and inclusive gaming experience. By adapting a classic board game for people with visual disabilities, this project promotes social inclusion and equal opportunities in leisure activities. It also raises awareness about the importance of accessible design and demonstrates how technology can be creatively used to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
