Specialising in fashion fabrics, my practice utilises mixed media to create outcomes for a range of contexts. I particularly focus on using embroidery and embellishment techniques in my designs.
Hand & Lock: Traces of Transition brief
Based on the brief of 'Hand & Lock: Traces of Transition', this project is based around the visuals of a peacock. Looking into womenswear, I based the samples that I was doing around different factors of past womenswear silhouettes and popular fashion (such are corsets and neck ruffles) to inform the types of samples I created. Beading, laser cut and fabric manipulation were all important processes used in this project.
