About

I am a multidisciplinary creative with a penchant for moving image and motion but a love for all things design. I have a knack for picking up technical software quickly and a steadfast determination for solving the problems that that tech inevitably spews out. However, I approach creative projects with an ‘idea first’ mindset and as such do not limit myself to a singular technology or style. I relish the opportunity to collaborate - I have found that a collaborative and experimental practice makes for transformative and expansive projects and I’m looking forward to working with more people in the industry. In my work, but also personally, I have a keen interest in sustainability and the environment. Two of my projects are centred around nature and I recently completed a two week trek across the Balkan mountains. If I’m not spending my weekends on a walk with my camera strap over my shoulder, you’ll find me at any sort of gig that I can get into - also with my camcorder in hand.

Here We Drink is a proposed awareness campaign addressing the rampant sewage pollution in England. Beginning locally, an interactive installation of Ted Hughes' poem 'If' would activate the riverside village of Boston Spa to rise up against sewage pollution. Expanding on this momentum, a countrywide advertising and social media campaign would be launched, using Ted Hughes’ powerful words, the visual language of the installation, and regional sewage pollution data, to get the nation talking about this issue. Finally, Google's variable font technology would be used in the new variation of Cormorant, Cormorant Contaminated, letting individual citizens join the fight against sewage. ‘If’ by Ted Hughes (c) the Estate of Ted Hughes.
