Passionate Arts University Bournemouth Design student, dedicated to creating innovative and inventive designs. I've gained valuable experience collaborating course-wide, growing my creative tool kit participating in client presentations for live briefs. Little Citizens is an interactive resource designed to engage children in democracy, civic responsibility, and decision-making. Rooted in research on school councils and participatory learning, it empowers young people with collaboration, critical thinking, and leadership skills. I developed prompt cards and interactive exercises to facilitate discussions in schools, conducting user research with teachers and students to refine the resource. To ensure accessibility for KS2 students (ages 6–10), I created a play-based learning framework and iterated on prototypes based on real-world testing and educator feedback. I also explored distribution avenues, including printable resources for Twinkl and physical game sets for schools. Little Citizens bridges the gap between young learners and meaningful civic engagement, making democracy more approachable, actionable, and fun.
