This project explores a bold visual identity for the future of public sector design. Inspired by institutions like the NHS and Design Council, it uses structured layouts, modern typography, and a familiar palette to balance authority with approachability. Through playful contrasts and professional tone, the work challenges traditional perceptions of bureaucracy, highlighting the creativity and collaboration behind civic systems.

Born from an essay exploring the mental health of creatives, this project transformed into a bold advertising campaign aimed at smashing the stigma surrounding mental well-being in our industry. Using a mix of traditional marketing and social media, the 'C' word took a playful, eye-catching approach to tackle serious conversations about mental health—because let’s face it, creativity thrives when we support the minds behind the magic...

As part of the RSA Student Design Awards, my team tackled the 'Caring Cultures' brief, focusing on fostering stronger relationships between the elderly and their carers. We designed "Synergy," an innovative game that encourages meaningful interaction and understanding through collaborative play. The project required extensive research into the challenges faced by both carers and the elderly, ensuring our design was empathetic and impactful. "Synergy" reflects my passion for using design as a tool to address social issues, creating solutions that bring people closer together and improve quality of life

Comfort Foods is a textile-based exploration of home, comfort and belonging, crafted for the unique experiences of university students. This interactive project presents three crocheted dishes, each inspired by the favourite comfort foods of my flatmates from her first year of university. The work highlights how simple meals can evoke powerful connections to emotion, identity and the warmth of home, even amidst the challenges of student life. By representing these dishes through soft, tactile forms, the project invites reflection on how shared culinary traditions create bonds and nurture feelings of comfort in unfamiliar spaces.

Collaborated with Brother’s Make to design and deliver a sustainable activation for Bournemouth 7s, incorporating recycled materials to create an engaging and eco-conscious experience. This project involved hands-on making, interactive design and community engagement, encouraging festival-goers to explore sustainability in a fun and creative way by designing a festival survival pack. Through problem-solving and a focus on circular design principles, my partner and I developed an activation and product that go hand in hand to highlight the potential of recycled materials while fostering meaningful audience interaction.

During my industry collaboration with 2LK, I worked on an exciting project to design a brand activation for "Lensflair," a fictional app inspired by TikTok. My team developed an immersive experience centred on the theme of "going down a rabbit hole," featuring a winding tunnel that captured the audience's imagination and a striking dazzle camouflage dome design. Our innovative concept combined bold visuals and interactive elements to reflect the app's playful and engaging nature. The final design was a great success, earning our team first place in the challenge and showcasing my ability to collaborate effectively in dynamic, creative environments while delivering impactful results.

Little Citizens is an interactive resource designed to engage children in democracy, civic responsibility, and decision-making. Rooted in research on school councils and participatory learning, it empowers young people with collaboration, critical thinking, and leadership skills. I developed prompt cards and interactive exercises to facilitate discussions in schools, conducting user research with teachers and students to refine the resource. To ensure accessibility for KS2 students (ages 6–10), I created a play-based learning framework and iterated on prototypes based on real-world testing and educator feedback. I also explored distribution avenues, including printable resources for Twinkl and physical game sets for schools. Little Citizens bridges the gap between young learners and meaningful civic engagement, making democracy more approachable, actionable, and fun.
