About
I am a Costume Design and Making student currently studying at Buckinghamshire New University. My passion for sewing has grown over the years, starting from sewing trinkets to sell at school fares to making garments to enter world-wide competitions.I fell in love with theatre from a young age, growing up with the immersive beauty that has made me strive and develop a set of costume skills I am proud of and well known for within my community.The future is truly unknown, but I will never lose my love for the creative arts, both theatre and film.
Pet En L’air; created using the Janet Arnold Patterns of Fashion 1 - Snowshill pattern. The garment is fully fitting to my model and the piece includes an internal corset back and a row of hook and bars along the side of the stomacher for ease of dressing. The kisses were created using a wooden laser cut print designed by myself and an appliqué technique for the final positioning.
