I'm Connie Slater, a multi-disciplinary designer with a love for all things creative. I specialise in graphic design, experience design, and UX, but I’m always curious and never tied to just one medium. Whether I’m prototyping, storyboarding, branding, or user testing, I love digging into the why behind a design. I’m all about bold ideas, playful execution, and making things that not only work, but spark a bit of joy. Outside of the studio, I’m endlessly fascinated by advertising and marketing, and how design connects people to stories.
Messy Minds is a playful self-advocacy tool designed to support women and non-binary people with ADHD in expressing themselves. Using the familiar format of a deck of cards, it gently guides users through prompts that spark reflection, build confidence and improve communication. Through accessible design, strong visuals, and meaningful content, Messy Minds helps break down barriers—encouraging connection, reducing stigma and making space for self-expression. Designed to feel good and do good.
